This is one serious post-apocalyptic pedal and petroleum powered performer!
Don’t let the name fool you. This isn’t the MoPed of the 80’s. This is a state of the art, mountain bike/motocross hybrid that’ll get you going and keep you mobile, long after the pumps are kaput.
Here’s the manufacturer’s (MotoPed) intro:
“A utilitarian, military-inspired super-hauler, it comes outfitted with a universal rack that accepts a myriad of bolt-on mounts, harnesses, and fitments so you can pack along darned near anything you can imagine.”-MotoPed
With a range of over 400 miles, using the auxiliary fuel cans, it’ll be sure to get you far out of harms way! With the option of pedaling, you won’t have to worry about getting stranded when the tank runs dry.
Black Ops Edition pictured above
“So maybe we got just a little bit carried away.. But who cares! The Black Ops edition takes preparedness to truly extremist levels. Protect your ass(ets) , and neutralize threats – no matter how heinous.”-MotoPed
What’s different about the Black Ops Edition? Well, it also comes outfitted with a crossbow, one-gallon auxiliary fuel tank, headlights, a survival shovel, a tomahawk, a harpoon, a fixed blade saw, carabiners and climbing rope, a flashlight, a multifunction knife/light, two multi-tools, a neck knife, and a bike mount for that most versatile of tools, your smartphone.
With two motor choices, a top speed of 24mph, and a host of cargo options, you’ll have no problems out running those brain hungry walkers! She’s no runway model compared to a standard mountain bike but considering it has a drivetrain and a pile of options, it’s 132 pound weight is not just svelte, it’s downright diminutive. With a larger engine in, they look and perform like an ultralight dirt bike. Eight inches of suspension travel and adjustable suspension, they should handle themselves pretty well off road.
They can be ordered pre-assembled or as a kit (at a discount).
Where will you go?
